Landéda Cemetery

The Landéda communal cemetery houses the grave of:
Stoker 2nd Class JOHN JAMES MCNEIL of the Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve, killed in action on April 29, 1944 at the age of 20 he was a member of the crew of the Canadian destroyer H.M.C.S Athabaskan torpedoed that same day by the Kriegsmarine.
