The Cantine beach support point is located to the west of the village. Surrounded by a large minefield, it is also bordered on the beach side by numerous anti-landing defensive lines made up of wooden stakes, chevaux de frise, Czech hedgehogs and tetrahedrons. To the east of the village of La Guérinière, the area is covered by a large minefield on either side of the road that cuts the island across its entire width. The battery is led by Oberleutnant MA Erich STOCK. VISIT TO BLOCKHOUSE R627 The tour is given voluntarily by AWM members. The visit is free and lasts between 1h30 and 2 hours. You will have the opportunity to make a donation to the association on the day of your visit, if you wish.
