Plate text:
This P51 Mustang III belonged to the "129th Squadron Mysore" of the Royal Air Force.
The "FB149" registration on the rear of the aircraft corresponds to the plane of a 21-year-old English pilot who took up his duties as warrant officer in May 1944, William Edgar Rigby.
On June 14, 1944 during a dogfight, the young pilot lost his life when he crashed at Saint-Hymer near the "Croix Poulain".
In tribute to William Edgar Rigby and all those heroes who fought in the name of LIBERTY.
